ANNIE LEIBOVITZ
I adore Annie Leibovitz, without sounding too clichéd she really uses the camera as a tool to explore hidden facets of her subjects. This photo of Miley Cyrus shows her transitioning from child star to mature woman, it looks like a beautiful pre-raphaelite painting.
TIM BURTON’S - VINCENT
I love Tim Burton and this is one of my favourite animations. I think sometimes we all wish we were a little bit deeper, a little bit darker and a little bit more interesting….well I know I do.
DAVID DOWNTON
stunning fashion illustrations by David Downton.

TRACEY EMIN & LOUISE BOURGEOIS
I love Tracey Emin, she gets a lot of negative attention in the press but I always think that revolution attracts fear, and fear will always incite negativity. She is a wonderfully talented artist with a beautiful drawing and printing style. I was so excited when i heard she was to be working with the late great Louise Bourgeois and the work is stunning. It seems to me that bourgeois has really aided emin in committing to paper her views about her abortions, miscarriages and sexual exploits.
In a nutshell, I love you Tracey Emin. Please never die!

JIM FLORA
I love Jim Flora right now, he is my illustrator of the moment, my current obsession. His bold colours and 50’s style makes me think of jazz and martini’s and middle america.
also, this will make me sound so dumb, but im obsessed with the opening animation on monsters inc, the doors with all the monsters? if any one knows the initial illustrator or primary animator, let me know!!!

I’m currently applying for uni and will be in the first wave of students to pay the higher tuition fee’s. Right now it seems all I’m hearing about is how poor everyone is and how everyone has no money, yet at the same time it seems everything is becoming more expensive. I imagine the government has their reasons, but right now I feel a little bit betrayed.
LUIS GABRIEL PACHECO
